Let me just say

You don't need to have dated before in order to be able to know a lot about dating and love. There is something called observing, yeah?
I have people close to me who always get into relationships and I always am able to see what is happening to them, what they are doing, and thus come out with some conclusions regarding this specific topic.
However, my judgment may not always be right, so if you were to ask me for advice, do note that what I would be giving you is mostly from my own experience, and it is whether you want to follow it. I will give the advice that is utilitarian, best for both sides, and I will not be siding anyone. So you need not worry that my judgment may be biased.

This is the sad reality of life.

People only recognize and acknowledge you only when you're of use to them. There are the rare kinds, however, that appreciates you for who you are and does not demand anything in return. These people are your family. But others? It's one in a billion. It's nearly impossible to find. Not even your soulmate is 100% trustable.

Words I hate

Every fcking conversation I make with anybody. They will have to use the following words stringed together.
'haha okay'
I mean, what the fck. If you want to kill the conversation, isn't it better to just say i gtg or something? This pisses me off really badly. Come on. Who the hell responses with 'haha okay'. It's just another form of 'k', just that this is in the formal tone, and not the 'k''s sarcastic, or defeated one. And I cannot revive the conversation. Regardless of what I say. Because there is no linkage. Linkage is the KEY FACTOR towards hostin successful conversations.
So let me tell you this, the people. If you were to cut off the conversation you're so unwilling to have, by saying 'haha okay' or anything similar, rest assured you won't receive another message from me unless it's dire.

Im back

Finally. After so long, I'm back. I really should be studying for tests, but I really have lost all motivation. But I have got to study.

Now I have downloaded the iPhone blogger app! I can now blog anywhere, anytime, with ease! Plus there is autocorrect, so instead of seeing spelling errors here, you would, instead, see extremely awkward spelling rectifications. Haha, this is so going to be fun.

I looked back on a few posts that I posted back in 2010, 2 years back, and I am SHOCKED to find that I actually have the AUDACITY to call my friends slackers. Well, not that they are not, but now that I read it, I find it pretty insulting. Sorry for whatever misconceptions I have caused thus far. Please accept my sincerest of apologies.

I will be posting from time to time, and I found that Wordpress was good, but not as flexible as blogspot. Most probably because I have gotten used to blogspot and am thus being judgmental. Hahahahaha.
And damn that iPhone that keeps changing 'thus' to 'this'. It's not funny, you fucken ass. I have to rectify all of it. Some autocorrect you are.

Not going to disable it though. Its good 99% of the time, and I'm going to be utilitarian, in a sense. I'm going to look at the big percentage of good it does instead of being petty and pessimistic over some small this and thus. AND NO I DON'T WANNA AUTOCORRECT TO THIS. SO STOP IT.

Oh my, such a long time since I last blogged. however, this blogging 'hobby', as i put it, may die. nah. im just shitting you. however, it is very near the EOYs and im just not giving a shit about it. BUT, i will give a shit about it as soon as i can. Dont you hate it when you just go blog walking on some other people's blogs, looking ooh wow, its so interesting, when out of a sudden, some effing popup comes out. good thing i have the little popup restrictor. though it brings down the webpage by one line. pisses me off when i actually have to move my mouse over just to cancel it. t(-.-t) them bitches.

so well, imagine if you got something for someone out of free will, and someone rejects it when they initially said yes, pisses you off greatly isnt it? however, i am not those type of people to actually get fussed over such small matters. this kind of bullshit aint supposed to this cared about, much less tolerated. so what can i do? persuade one last time, before giving up totally and continuing with life. its just like the saying, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade, and double your profits. but many of you out there will be trying to kill yourself, depressed over what has happened. nah, as i said, t(-.-t) them bitches.

Update again

Ok, its been about a month plus since I updated this mundane blog... fits the name eh?
its just that, I cant seem to find the interest in blogging. i just want to keep to myself, play COD4, DotA, or just go out with friends. I just cant keep my mind to it, to update frequently. Anyways, there is few people actually reading my blog, really doesnt make any sense to keep on updating it. But seriously, blogging takes commitment, apparently, i do not have one for this 'hobby', like what people use to call it. ikr.
I have seen on facebook, many people complaining about their results being too bad, etc. but why do they even complain about it in the first place? They worked for the result, they get what they sow. like the famous quote goes: you reap what you sow. over facebook, you keep complaining about how tough the exam was, your results are so bad, but your true intention is to get people to sympathize with you. look here you all, over facebook, yes you will claim that people actually sympathize, but what do you know about them behind the screens? maybe they could be dancing in joy, one less competition for them, they are assured of a higher mark than someone else. only some will really sympathize, pity you. however, majority will just let you go, not give you true advice. all they tell you is not to be sad, well, all i can say, that is a load of tosh.
Vesak day yesterday, went out with jared, cong jie, sydney, rachel and jasmin. well, they told me about the gathering last minute, so i was late. if not i would have been the first. heh heh. Went to pasir ris park to cycle, have some fun. cong jie was still a greenhorn at cycling needed some guidance to start riding a bike. well, guidance was always there. thats me of course :P guided him through the basics of riding a 2 wheel bike, tips on how to ride properly. yeah, good thing he was a fast learner, within the hour he was up and going, on his fourteen maybe fifteenth try? good job cong jie, keep up the good work.
well, results were certainly NOT terrific, well, i would say they were ATROCIOUS. except for that full marks +1 in my Amaths logarithms test. Seriously, what is so hard? not trying to be arrogant, but what? need guidance in amaths? ask for help! dont just sit there waiting for help to come. I asked for help myself.

Should I?

Many of us have faced many problems in life, and the most intriguing question that always pop up in our head when we make a rather difficult decision is, should I? This happens to almost everyone, there is the small minority that act without thinking. That is what I did call ultra-stupid.
Even easy decisions like whether to go to the toilet or not also will have to take time to consider. Are you really that urgent that you really have to put off what you are doing and to use the washroom? There is no definite answer to this. It is all up to choice. Do you really want to piss, or endure the burning desire to piss? So, its should I piss or not? Simpler terms, to piss, or not to piss?
I am facing this dilemma now. Should I join back Maplestory, the once, to me, fabled ultra-super-duper nice game that I got so addicted into, but now lost almost all interest? Should I join back to help me friends? Well, since I just got my new laptop, I think that I should wait for the right time to come before downloading MapleStory again and resume my adventures in Maple. Give me time to consider eh, Jared?

Say, whats up? Its been quite a while since I last blogged. Sorry for the long delay eh? :P
This holiday is coming to an end, but only for me, as for other schools, their holiday have already ended like, this monday? LOL My school ended one week late, so it is right they give us back the one week, regardless when, though it is best to get back the one week during the December holidays so that we can have a 2 Month break just like other schools :D
Been playing a lot, brain getting weak from playing, not toughened up yet. Looking forward to go back to school asap, so that my brain can freshen up ^^ But hope that my teachers would be better and that I can cope easily with the increasing amount of work that I will be expecting to get since I am in Sec 3 :D
Been playing Fire Emblem : The Sacred Stones. Tried many things that a normal GBA can never do, since this can just restart anytime. I did Arena abusing, RNG abusing, so that my characters have above average stats, like maxing out their str/mag :D Nice right? ahahha
SMS/Pranked quite a few people :P Dont mention their names here obviously :D But sorry if I truly disturbed you, I was just trying to add a tiny spark to your life, to brighten your day :D
DotA becomes more fun as I start to improve in my skills, yet continually playing against unfair AIs doesn't help my skill improve much. Such as a channeling skill, just before your skill is cast, the AI will just make your channeling stop, like Voodoo-ing you or stunning you. Epic right? No human can do that. Maybe a fair few, but not common.
Watched a lot of replays, my favourite hero remains as Nevermore. Love his nuking razes ^^ 300 damage is just that damn pain ahahahaha.
Well, 2011 has come, to some its one more year to doomsday, to some its just 'bochup' (hokkien for 'dont care'). Personally, I dont really care, its just one more year of work and fun. :D

Sec 3 Options

Ahh... damn, I am feeling the dilemma of choosing which subjects to take next year. Actually, its just Biology. My friends all encourage me to take, so should I? It might prove to be a blessing in disguise, it seems hard outside, but it might actually be quite easy on the inside. I might be able to learn more and actually concentrate better if I were moved to another class. I want to be with old friends, but I have, too, been thinking, I want to be better than my group of friends, above them, but, is it because that they are slack at times that I am too slack and thus we are still stagnant, staying and achieving same results all the time?
Deciding, most probably taking Biology, just have to tank with it all the way...

History

Tomorrow marks the day where I put my most mugged subject to test. I have studied this subject for the most number of times in the most number of days, excluding Geography and Unseen Poetry. Damn those two papers, I hate them now...
Geography tested nothing that was in the revision guide, leading us to false conclusions about the geography paper. This is not fair and I do not think it is correct. But the teachers might have expected us to learn everything before the test.
Unseen Poetry (followed by comprehension passages) was kind of screwed up due to the fact that I was unable to understand certain parts of the poem and comprehension. But the irony in this statement, somewhat, "The doctors came up and told Brently Mallard that his wife had died from heart disease--a joy that kills." I stared at this question for quite a long time, before saying that this was uncompromisable. I am praying that my answer would at least gain me 1 mark. The unseen poetry, I hoped that I have followed the structure that my friends have thought me, I hope that I have done the right thing. But the examination for that paper is over, nothing much I can do about it anymore.

Hey guys, sorry, I did not log on for a long time due to the fact that I was very busy with certain stuff, I agree what most of you will be thinking, not only studying right? Well, somewhat like that, yeah.
So, the exams are just 2 days away, but I am taking this time to reiterate certain key things to note during the exams and readers out there might want to follow my tips or stick to your own.
During exams, do not fret. Regardless on whether the question is hard or not, do not fret. This will cause you certain levels of distress. That is what I always feel. But the only time when you are allowed to fret is during the last 5 minutes of the paper and you are still halfway through the test. One thing to say to you, Good Game. :D
Next thing, read the questions carefully, and write properly. Do not screw up your handwriting as this will cause you many marks that will cost you your MSG and screws up your Gaming Time during the holidays. Well, actually, it is up to you. If your handwriting is already neat, then stick to it. No need to waste so much time and make it neater when yours is already legible.
Reading of questions carefully also help a lot in answering the question. I myself have encountered the problem of losing marks because I missed out on words that were like 'How' or 'Why'. I sometimes just jump to the later part of the question without even bothering to read the front part, and this has cost me about 2 marks per question read wrongly?
Anyways, tactics are up to you. Studying and knowing your points are just totally up to self. If you do not revise, but think that you know everything, then that's too bad for you. Dont be so complacent, step down and give your brain some time to refresh its memory on the past topics.

Today, a great day

Today was a day like no other. What happened? Nothing much, seriously. We had the first day of our sabbaticals, which is IDS[Inter Disciplinary Studies] and learned about the SCDF, and how to save people by using various methods such as CPR. They thought us about the actions to take during the life saving and what and what not to do. Well, they also threw in a couple of jokes, so on the whole the thing was not at all boring due to the constant jokes that were constantly sprung up.
After that, went to meet up with my friends to play table tennis at their condo. Its been quite a while since I last played table tennis, I think about a year? My skills have, thus, gone rusty. I warmed up a little with Aaron, the host, before starting to go on match rounds of 11. Slowly, my skills started to improve and from the close win of 11-8, the last round I played I won a game of 11-4. From this, I feel that practice certainly makes perfect.
Went out to eat the famous 'PonTian' Wanton Mee, and went home after that. I thoroughly enjoyed the table tennis part, where we had loads of fun playing together.
Thats all for today, not a lot of events, but certainly a fun one.

Animal abuse

I refer to the article 'Dog brutally beaten to death at void deck'. The dog had died after suffering from multiple head injuries and consistent trauma. Witnesses claim that the man that beat the dog to death had acted strangely as he had requested for a knife before the murder happened. Witnesses wanted to step in and stop the man from beating the dog to death but were afraid after they claimed that the man looked 'crazy'. The dog was repeatedly flung towards the floor and witnesses had rung the police, hoping that the police would reach in time to save the dog, and stop the man. Unfortunately, the dog had died soon before the police had arrived.
I feel that the man whom beat up the dog should be severely punished. The reason for beating up the dog was unknown, and thus it is most probably that the man was venting his anger on the dog, and since he looked 'crazy', he must have been a drunkard. Such brutality to an innocent animal is outrageous. In no way is the man right in beating up the dog, even if the dog had bitten him or done something to him. He could at least have told SPCA, and SPCA would have done something to do dog, maybe keep it in captivity. But no, the man just beat up the dog, flinging it to the floor multiple times, causing it to die from multiple head injuries. This is inhumane. I would not tolerate such a behavior if I were to witness such an incident outside.

Wife learns of husband's second marriage through FaceBook

Lynn France learnt that her husband had gone through a second marriage without informing her of anything. One day, she typed the two words onto the FaceBook search page that she suspected of having an affair with her husband. Mere seconds later, the results she had expected popped out in front of her. All the marriage photos taken on the day of the marriage. About 200 of them, all uploaded to FaceBook, up for public viewing. Not only that, she found out that her husband was taking frequent business trips to everywhere else in the world, and once she found out that her husband left his passport at home when he was supposed to be in China.
I feel that the husband was very disloyal to his wife as he just went on with another affair with his mistress without even telling his wife, let alone signing a divorce. He would have lost a lot of faith and trust that his wife had put into him, and from there his future mistresses will not have as much faith in him as they might get dumped by him again. He should at least have some consideration and tell his present wife, Lynn, and at least she is prepared for the future happenings, and might even take it well, and not be unhappy with him. He should not have let her found out the secrets by herself as it really pains the heart to find out that your loved one had tricked you, lied to you. Not only that he had tricked his wife, he also lied to her many times. He said that he was going for business trips, but instead he went to live with his mistress. What kind of a person does that make him? Selfish, idiotic, bad and a total bastard. How could he, without total consideration for his wife...

Singapore standards : Are they deteriorating?

I came across two unbelievable news while I was surfing the internet, and I will tell you about it one by one.
The first one came about on Saturday, where volunteers of the YOG complained that they were given improper food to consume when they were helping out at the YOG. Personally, I feel that the organisers should at least give the volunteers proper food to eat, as they are helping out, sacrificing their time to help out in the community, in preparation for the YOG. Certainly, the person who complained took a picture of the food and then uploaded it to facebook, where people started to comment and criticize the food that was given out and then it started to spread like a contagious virus before it became news. But, I have support on both sides. The person who complained should not have made such a small matter into such a big matter, as this food incident is only a small matter, not a really huge one. One NS man that was helping out in the YOG also commented that 'the food they served was cold, but the food was nice and filled us nonetheless'. The person who complained really made matters more complicated when he could just have sent an email on wrote a complain letter to the person in charge so as to keep the matters confidential. Really, one spark started it all.
But, the volunteers at the YOG also should have been given some proper, decent food to eat. They cannot be treated so lowly while the foreigners are actually treated way better than we locals. What would happen to the image on Singapore if foreigners found out about what Singapore has done to its locals, not giving them the proper respect? They would think Singapore is a lowly country and does not deserve to be stayed in. Everyone should receive a mutual amount of respect from anyone, whoever it may be.

Low food quality for YOG Volunteers

The second piece of news that I am going to share with you is about the scamming incidents that are increasing in number in Singapore. Recently, some hawkers at Boon Lay have been conned of a few fake $50 notes that were paid to them when they were doing business. The hawkers did not realise that they were fake $50, and took them for real ones, and in the end they got scammed of around $300 each. Why is this happening in Singapore? Singapore claims to have great national security, yet they cant prevent a scam like this from happening? The hawkers should also take some time to examine the money they are given carefully before accepting them, as when they accept them and realise they are fake, it would be too late to return it to the con man as he may already have gone or can claim that that note isnt his. We Singaporeans should be more vigilant in what we do and not fall for these anymore. How would you feel if you got scammed of more than $300? You feel stupid, as you fell for it, and hoping you can turn back time. But you cant but the toothpaste back into the tube, no point crying over split milk.

I refer to the statement I came across recently and decided to give my comments about it. Many people claim that money actually is the root of all evil, because money causes everything to start, such as economic crisis, financial difficulties, and poverty. I totally agree to these few results that were caused by money. But how about love? Without love, there would be no such thing as money, as no one would want to earn the money to give it or keep it for their loved ones as there would then be no meaning to life, nothing to work hard for. People would just keep earning money to survive but with no aim nor objective at all. With love, would people then try to work hard to either impress their fiance, support their family so that they would not starve. Usually, burglars rob banks as they need the money to either support their family or to help their friends that are in urgent need of money, and thats when love starts this evil. There would then be an objective to earn the money. I sort of agreed that love was one of the bigger and main reasons why money had started, though this applies to most people, not all. Those people whom prefer loneliness will not feel that love caused all evil, but in fact money is.

You cant put toothpaste back into the tube

As the title have stated, you cannot put toothpaste back into the tube, like how you cant reverse what you have done and you cannot take back the words you have said. This is exceptionally true, as we cannot reverse time and redo our mistakes. If so, everyone would probably be a perfectionist and then there would be no competition in the world, as everyone is exactly the same, correcting every mistake they make. No one will ever learn, as the main aim is to only correct the mistake, put it right, and get it over with. As the famous quote goes,'After failure comes success', and 'Learn from experience', these 2 quotes will no more be in existence as there will only be such a thing called right and no wrong. Though there are also certain pros in it, if only we could change what we have done wrong or taken back what we have said. If only we could change some things, if not there would be war amongst people. War ends many lives, many innocent lives, those that fought for their country would die in war. If only if people could go back in time and kill the troublemakers that would cause trouble in 'future', then there would be no war, no innocent deaths, and there would be total peace. But there isn't and will be no such thing. As it goes, Time and tide waits for no man.

Movie Review: The Simpsons Movie

Comments: This is one hilarious movie, which does not only show us the funny parts, but actually teaches us lessons as we watch deeper into the movie. Homer Simpson, the main character of this movie, was portrayed as a very selfish person and do not care about anyone else at all. Neither does he care about anything, and he gets easily distracted. A quote by Homer at the start of the movie ' those people are just too busy praying holey-baloney god' shows that Homer does not care of his religion.
The use of language is hilarious, the way people phrase it and the reaction of the characters, such as the main character, Homer Simpson, when his son laughs at him, he will surely end of with a 'Why You Little...' before strangling him. He also has his famous 'DOH!' after doing something wrong.
I highly recommend this movie, if you are looking forward to a movie of much laughter yet teaches you some moral values, this is the movie for you.

14 years of my life have passed, how long more I do not know[not cursing myself though]. Many people have work with me, help me through the hard times, and made sure that I achieved what I wanted. Friends supported me, one way or another, and I feel encouraged by that. My relatives, parents and sibling, have helped me through the bad times, pushing me on, letting me stand up for myself when I needed to, so that I can learn skills that will never ever be taught in the outside world.
As time draws nearer to the End Of Year exams, we feel the usual butterflies in your stomach, and we start revising, studying notes that we have written over the year, and making sure that we are able to use the things we memorised effectively, so that our efforts will not be put to waste. I hereby encourage all to persevere and never to give up.
Results falter, results improve, any kind of result, we just have to be patient, and never to rush for the unrealistic kind of results we want to achieve. Everything takes time to improve, and even if it improves by just a little bit, it is still an improvement.
Through the past 14 years, many people came into my life, some left me, either forever or just by contact. Either way, without any of them, I do not think my life would be what it is today, whether it may be worse or better, I am happy for what I am. I thank all for what they have done.

Life aint so bad after all, really

Ahh, finding that your day was a bit screwed due to someone whom purposely or accidentally made you unhappy with a few things he/she done to you? Well, you dont have to be really sad about it, neither do you have to make a commotion about it. Many people say to tell someone, but if you knew that that someone would make even more fun of you and make you even more sad, forget it. I am those type of really jolly type, unable to bear malice for long [which turns out to be either a good thing or a bad thing], and today I am going to share some of my tips on how to keep yourself calm and happy even if someone is making fun of you.
One thing that happened to me quite a few years back. In primary school, many people made fun of my name. Well, I did not find it funny either, but who cares? They make fun of my name, let it be their problem. I took no notice of them but not only that, I responded to the name they gave me with the same thing I always respond to others. I always think this to myself, Let it be. This then empowered my optimistic side and my pessimistic side died away. Dont have to keep thinking about it for too long.
So advice? Here it is:
1. Think about other things that make you happy.
2. Play along with the people that make fun of you.
3. Try your best to make the joke impale back on the creator, without causing too much trouble.
4. If you do not prevail in something that is unimportant, then prevail in another, regardless whether it is important or not.
5. Do things that make you happy.
And you will be the type that does not flare up easily, no bearing of malice. Comment Thanks~!

Recently, the FIFA world cup has been running and there have been many odd things going on, such as Argentina, a quite good team, losing to Germany, quite an underdog against Argentina, thrashing them 4-0. LOL epic fail. Then Germany losing to Spain 1-0, after Oracle Octopus said Spain will win. Oracle Octopus Paul has a perfect score streak for picking all teams that will win correctly, the ones Germany will fight against, including the loss to Serbia 1-0. Well, maybe he was just lucky, maybe he really knows.

MapleStory UniReport #2:
It has been quite sometime since I posted something that happened. Well, my nightlord has not leveled up at all since the previous report, still at the meagre level 126, whilst my sister's Bishop has now acquired the level of 153, still Annihilation's top and most prided character. PuR3pR0aGe, my cousin, has recently hit level 120, and has thus become Annihilation's 3rd 4th Jobber. Congratulations mate, XD.
Recently, I have been training my Aran, WereLycan, from lvl 66 to now lvl 104. I had been quite lucky around mesos recently and thus I have thought about training by Aran to give my UniForceX some BlessOfFairy levels. The first day I planned and started training, I have leveled up from 66~70, in a span of 4 hours. Not too fast, not too slow, considering the fact that I was on 4x at MP3. But ever since then, I have grinded my way through to level 100. On the next day, still using the same 2X EXP coupon from the previous day, I have trained it until 84, before the 2X Coupon expired. Then, I requested another 2X coupon to be sent to my Aran character so that I can continue training it, and then leveled it up to 90, before calling it a day.
On the 3rd day, since I can start leeching at ESW already, I trained with other priests and my cousin, with extra HB, and I grinded at the same place for the next 6 hours, and thus acquiring the level 104. It really was fun training, and I highly recommend this job to people who really want to train fast but do not have the fundings or are lazy to find ringers. Buffs are really essential if you really want to train 10levels within 1 day.
So, on the next training session, I am going 4x/4x ringer at Skelegons, as I have tested the EXP and the EXP really was quite good, not too slow, not too fast.
Been scrolling a couple of stuff recently, such as my 18dex Green pirate pants, and my 24 dex scarlion helmet, 63wa red craven. And I also scrolled my sister's Maple Wagner, from a base 61wa to a +6 73wa. Well, the last slot failed, as I hoped not to, but since 6 had already passed, I dont mind XD.

FIFA Day #17

Well, been quite a few days since the start of FIFA world cup held in South Africa. There has been a couple of disbelieving scores, where Portugal thrashed North Korea to a superb score of 7-0 when Brazil could only win them by 2-1. Is it? Not sure LOL. There has been quite a commotion about the scores of Germany vs England, where the score has turned out to be 4-1. Soccer officials have declined a legitimate goal on England, as the ball had landed past the line of the Germany goal post. This then caused the commotion as the score might have been 4-2. Either way, England would have lost. But, no matter what, all players have a chance of qualifying, just whether they want to or not. They decide for themselves. Hard luck, England and England supporters, better luck next time. But since I am not a fan of soccer, I do not support any team, but I do keep a lookout for scores and take note of them. See how team fares.

As promised, and a single joke I've been through

As from my previous post, I promised to write my feelings and opinions about the 3 topics that I was about to talk about. Well, here goes:
If life had 20 channels..
See, according to MapleStory, quite a famous game in the world, with a few servers around it, such as MapleSEA, most worlds in the game itself has 20 channels. Getting back to the point, if real life were to be the same thing, then there would be 20 of everything. And as everyone knows, Channel one, for famously known as cc1, will be the most crowded. There will be quite a few pros and cons with this thing in place in real life. The pros are that since there is 20 of everything, then people would not have to queue up so long for toilets [ and this problem occurs only in girls toilets, i dont know why either. most probably they do their business longer ], or have to find a hard time squeezing into trains or buses. Hotels would not be so crowded, and shopping malls will be less crowded too. Unless people want to be in more crowded places, since they are more sociable, then they may be going to cc1. But there are so many good things, what are the bad ones? Well, the cons [i feel] are the trouble to change between channels. Though, iof that were to come to real life, I am sure that the changing of channels should not cause too much of a problem to do it, if not people would resent it. Then the second con of this 20 channels would be the problem of finding people. Well, you may say that one can always ask a person to see what channel he is in before traveling to the desired destination, well, yeah, I agree too. But what if the person had forgotten to tell the person which channel you are in, and so coincidentally your phone battery's runs dead? Then you would have a hard time locating where your friends are. But I think the person whom would most benefit from this are the robbers and thieves. Police pursuit them, but they can easily out run the police by simply changing channels. That's why.

What do I think? Well, I would rather NOT have this put into our lives. Lets just stick with our normal lives and have fun with it, and not try to do unnecessary changes. No one would benefit, but no one would be suffering from it. But seriously, this is a topic to consider about. A fun topic actually.

So, what about the little joke ive been through? Well, there was this one time in the third week of the June Holidays on a stormy day when my house telephones went a bit crazy. It wasnt ordinary, as it didnt happen for the past few years. So, no matter how many times I tried disconnecting the phones [which I disconnected from the wrong points -.-], the phones still could not work. So, I gave a call to my dad in the end using my HandPhone. Dad then said that he was gonna call SingTel and ask one of their people to come down to our house and chekc the problem with our phones.
Around 2pm, the guy came and started inspecting the problems with our phones. He used his own phone to call our house to see what the problem really was. Then he pulled out the microfilter in my dad's room and tested the connection again. This time, the thing was already ok, so the problem lies in my dad's room. But whats the joke? Well, in the process, he also let me see the problem myself. He dialled my house phone number and then asked me to hear. The problem was there. Then he asked me to hold his phone while he plucked out the microfilter. When I glanced at his phone home screen, I realised there was one big word on the screen.

Dont get the joke? I will tell you in a few sentences.
Read the first part. My dad called a guy from SingTel. But the guy that came to my house had signed up with StarHub. Isnt it like drinking Pepsi in front of a Coke manager?
No offences, but I saw this kinda funny.

Currently, what's happening?

Hi all! Long time no post le... playing maple all this while, and before that I had to prepare for the examinations which, in the overall grade, I have maintained from last term, with a meager MSG [ Mean Subject Grade ] of 2.67. That ain't very high....
For the past few weeks, I have been thinking of what I should post in this blog. So I have came up with these few topics that I will be discussing on and sharing my own views on it.

2. Life aint so bad after all, only if you knew the right way to PLAY it. :D

MapleStory UniReport #1:
The first ever proper, standard English Report on MapleStory, what's happening?
A couple of new things came out within the past month, with the biggest change being the release of the Evan class. It is also called the Onyx Dragon Master, where, instead of you attacking like in previous jobs, the Dragon, also known as the Onyx Dragon, that accompanies you does the attacking. Well, that sounds kinda fun. I tried it out for myself. Well, the first 3 days went on without much of a problem, until the Mushroom Kingdom Quest was discovered to have a bug. The GameMasters went on a Server Check and returned after 2 hours the next day the bug was discovered. From then, the new job Evan was also discovered to have a BUG. This was a major bug, as all the skill points from the Evan job were being reduced to 0. This bug only happened in Delphinus/Eridanus Worlds. Well, some of us are thankful that the bug came about as in compensation, the GameMasters gave us a couple of free cash items that came in handy during training.
For the past 3 days or so, I have not been training my NightLord. Sounds surprising? Dont be. I have promised not to train my NightLord until it has become a fully-fledged dexless NightLord. Up till now, its almost done, with only the belt, helmet and claw left to go. Lampion? Changed my mind. Purple Dragon Sleeves are much easier to find and affordable.
So what have I been doing? Well, still mapling, but not marketing for scrolls and equipments to go with my NightLord. Instead, I have been training my sister's Bishop, the first ever Bishop to ever come around to the guild Annihilation! One of our greatest prides before, now she have turned into, with the help of me (of course), Annihilation's GREATEST PRIDE, with a whooping level of 148 in a mere 3 days after becoming Bishop (not including the days we went overseas, but instead the number of days spent training). Congratulations!

June Holidays 2010

Tomorrow marks the actual start of 2010 June Holiday. Woots! It seems that we are already starting to party this weekend and spam play our games as there will be no more school. But remember people, homework must be done! This applies to all except for the fortunate few that do not have any homework or have to go overseas and have no time for homework. Even for the latter, there should be some time for homework or you could even bring your home work to the holiday destination itself.
The pre-hols started off with a VeSUCK day, as we have to do many stuff like spring cleaning, etc etc. But who cares, in the end we still play harder than we worked. My MSG this term was the same as last term, but who gives a damn anymore, its PLAY TIME
Evan now level 21, gonna train either my nightlord or evan soon.

I am Back, and badder than ever:D

Welcome back to my blog! I stayed away for quite a few weeks because of the exams that came in my way. I have been leeching for the past few days and I have leveled quite a number of times. I have then trained to lvl 120 at 3.30pm and have advanced to a NIGHTLORD. Woots! Just 1 day before the release of Evan, I have acquired by dream. Now its time for a never ending training for my NightLord.
There has been quite a few glitches in Maple these few days. One such glitch is that the Guild BBS and Guild Notice is unable to post anything, and this has really pissed me off because I want to post in the Guild Notice how many times our Guild, StarBuckz, has killed Captain Latanica. To date, we have killed 7, with me,UniForceX, killing one Solo, of course with the help of my cousin, PuR3pR0aGe to HyberBody me. Another such glitch is that when people receive one 'Orb of Fire Wand' from the gachapon event, the Lucky winner in the text box shows 2 instead of 1. Today I confirmed with Han Long[GildThief] and he said that they will only receive one of the wand.
So, about my nightlord. I have many special thanks to many people, such as Han Long [ GildThief ] whom have given me invaluable advice on where and how to train, and also giving me tips on how to be a trader, and thus I used the amount of money that I had earned to leech myself at the early levels. Spammers include Vesteta, iBabyQueenie and KeroKTeropy have spammed me from Lvl 106 and [of course] I have paid them the amount they asked for. Relentlessly, they have spammed for a total of about 14 hours, within 2 days, and I have attained the title of NightLord, with iBabyQueenie spamming me from Lvl119 69.18% - Lvl 120. Ringers, a few whom i remember, JordanJC, MrBanditto a.k.a Sioong whom have sold me their ring services. Without them, I would not have been what I have been today.
I also would like to thank my many friends and relatives and anonymous users whom have sponsored me, mega-ed me when I reached lvl 120, or congratulated me over FaceBook. These people inclue:

Labour day FTW

Today is labour day, now slacking in the room typing this blog post. Hey, i am not no lifing, i am just sian from reading the Ben Walsh that made my bag so freaking heavy. sian, adolf hitler makes my life so hard, another general cause of the world war II. i have a bad feeling about this, but seriously though, a weird dream on a couple of people had happened thrice already, and the main 'character' appeared thrice in the same dream, the most recent being only last night. DAMM

Financial Crisis, what is it?

The most recent financial crisis had set me thinking on how the stock market crashed. Curiosity aroused in me. Why, I thought, the money was still circulating around the sellers and the buyers would in the end have to sell it away, and gain back the money, that's if they manage to sell it away. This post I am writing on is for novices who wants to know how the stock market crash.
At the start, you may think that the money was still circulating around the buyers and thus there would be no way the stock market could ever crash. But think about it, if you are an investor, you would surely want to gain profit from your shares that you sell right? So this is where the problem comes in. People felt that buying shares was the easiest way to earn money, and the economy bloomed. It was then the people started to feel greedy and wanted more than what they had before. Take for example a scenario: Investor A bought an item from a seller at a price of $1, and sold it off at a price of $1.20, earning him a profit of 20cents. Investor B then buys from Investor A, knowing that he is able to earn a profit if he buys from Investor A, and he sells it off to Investor C, at another profit of 20cents. This trend then goes on all the way until the price of that share itself is so high that no one wants to buy it anymore. So much of the shares is circulating around in the market, why should anyone want to buy it at such a high price? When unable to sell it off, the investor would start to consider selling it off at the price that he has bought it for, which makes him unable to earn a profit. When no one wants to buy it at the decreased price, investors start to consider a loss, as long as they get back their money. This is when the share price starts to plummet, and the stock market crashes.

Well, this is a game like no other. It is a tower defense game, with superb graphics and is extremely addictive. When you start playing, you will say, its so boring, but as you advance through the ages, you will find that it gets more interesting, and as you progress, you find that the monsters get steadily harder to kill. There is no definite health to the monsters, with bosses having the highest Health Points. There is no such thing as a Mana Points, as no other tower defense game has. You will find that at the start of the game, it is freaking boring, but the desire to continue continues evermore until you die as you progress into the game.
The rounds have only these few types of monsters : Grunts, Runners, Saboteurs, Deflectors and Flyers. Grunts are the most common units, appearing 3~4 times per round. The rest only appear once. I believe that from the name Runners, you can tell that it has high speed, but as all TD games say, Runners have low HP. Saboteurs have lower hp than Grunts, but do 2X damage to your fortress. Deflectors have FREAKING high hp, but low speed. Flyers have 30% more hp than grunts, and move 40% faster than grunts, though 20% slower than runners. Thus, I feel that the most dangerous units are the flyers, followed by deflectors, than saboteurs, than grunts/runners.

Paiseh, forget to blog on the day i leveled from 103~105 :P
When to train at Petrifighters with my spammer at Along the Road to Ulu City. EXP there was not bad, about 4k per mob and 500EXP per mob that they kill. :D Trained there for a while before the 2X event and then went to Leafre to train on Newties. Tried the first lane for the first time in my life. I have a 95% chance of surviving at 1st Lane. O.o twice they hit me 3032 dmg, I think thats the highest, when I have 2983 hp. Twice I was left with 1hp. Good thing I got maxed alchemist, which heals 50% more HP/MP using a single pot. Alchemist seriously helps. Went on 4X for that day itself, when I leeched also on 4X + Ringer on the second day of the holidays. Not too bad eh? Got my fundings from my sis and han long. Sis 'sponsored' me 40m when I helped her sell her PAC (2wa). Now i got 14xm and planning to use it all for leeching or grinding. Hoping to hit Night Lord during the June Hols :D

Someone, apparently, jumped onto the train track and got hit by a train heading towards Pasir Ris. Intention of jumping onto the track was unknown. It is rumored that the person is actually dead. Wait, I cant comment on that. But someone said that the person is actually dead. Forgot whom. Please do forgive me if the person is not actually dead and leave me a comment in the comment tag. But seriously, why jump onto a train track and risk getting killed by a speeding train travelling at a minimum speed of 100km/h? Well, he might want to pick up his things that dropped onto the train track, but at least ask a guard to help you to take it instead of getting it yourself. Imagine how worried your parents will be. Might be due to his desperation in order to get his item that caused him to jump onto the train track and get hit by a train. Maybe he was scared and embarrassed or shy to get someone like a guard to help him get his items.

Leeching and training

I leeched about 7 levels on Tuesday at Entrance to the Spooky World. My level became from 95~102. Really exciting, as your EXP flies up so fast! on 4X EXP and Ringer, with every Genesis from a 1Hitter at Spooky, bebe4ngeL, I gained about 0.45% per fresh mob. It was a continuous, extremely tiring, 6 hrs leech, from 8am~2pm. Spent about 70m on the leech. Quite worth it though, leveled up 7 times. Maxed my Alchemist and Avenger at Lvl 25. Not too bad for me.
On Wednesday, which is today, I leveled up from 102~103. Did not leech as I did not have the time. Met Zhi Wei in MP3 and Han Long showed off his Hwabi Throwing Stars. Getting excited now as 120 draws nearer. But I am fearing that I will not be able to get my Triple Throw Skillbook, so I am trying to save up on mesos. Hope that will be able to reach my target before this EOY and then can have more fun bossing and messing around with guildmates and friends :D
Mong Party was actually a very fast training idea for me. Went there with my sister, whom was not a 100% hitter at Mong, and since I was on 2X EXP, and with my sister's HolySymbol, I managed to gain 7k EXP per mong that I kill fully. About 8% per 5min that I train. So I recommend this place to everyone that is trying to advance to 4th job quickly. But this only applies to Hermits/ attackers.
Slacked today, managed to find out about the game that I had wanted for so long. Wait, it was only for 3 days. Search it. It is a mobile phone game. Tower Wars - Time Guardian. Last played this game in P6 everyday during Chinese Class after PSLE. Teacher let us slack. But that was like 2~3 years ago. T_T

1st Delphinus Auf Haven down :D

Three cheers to the killers of the first ever Auf Haven run in Delphinus! Yay! There is proof to this. Nope, not whether they mega it or anything, but its that there is now the Auf Haven Circlet! I will post the screenshot sometime soon. But not now. By the way, I just leveled up to level 93 yesterday. Went on 15min 2X EXP and then trained from 82~98% by sniping at newties. Then, survived the last 2% using normal lucky sevens without Shadow Partner. Didnt want to waste it LOL. Auf Haven Circlet is so damm pro. Though it may have a disbelieving +1stat to all, but guess what, it has 20 slots! That can give you something more powerful then Scarlion Helmet. For example, all 60/70% of Helmet for Dex, it may result in a 41dex helmet! Damm godly. If all 10/30% were to success, then the Dex of the Auf Haven Circlet would be 61, where no other hat can ever hit.
Han Long downed 1X sams and then gained 60% of level 127. Grats dude :D Training DaNubAran for Tan Hee by tomorrow. Will try to. 18m+9slot Mamba. I think that it should be possible. 2 levels. Hmmmmm...
Planning to sell REP points tomorrow. 5~6m each, then faster go newtie train LOL. Then gain money for training. :D

today EOTA so fun LOL. i thought we going somewhere near to HwaChong to bowl, but guess what, we went to Orchid Bowl! OMGMGMGMG, seems like i am the only one who knows the way there. the teacher dont even know, gotta ask me lol. played TapTap on the bus there, then we played 2 games. Well, hanlong pwned us in the 1st game, zhi wei pwned us in the second game. lol i got second in both. tan hee's LIMBEI method failed. only once did it get 9 lol. my points both less than 100 FAIL. 60+nia. i suck at bowling, gotta practice more.
at around 11plus, we were told that today got half day. hoped that bo cca, so that can go home straight, but too sad, got cca, go in there 1 min then come out liao lol, doing my holiday lib duty on thurs 3 hrs.

it wasnt that bad, just that there were some minor defects. not really defects, its either the teacher did not set the quiz properly or the quiz was having some glitches. 1 question in the quiz = 100points. and there was 10 questions in 1 quiz. i expected the questions to be really difficult and thus its worth 100points. but noo. the questions were quite simple actually. but there were a few problems actually.
1. we were only given 10seconds to do 1 question. so about 1split second=1point. ( rough calculation)
2. there was no way to read the question if you want to get >80 points. this then relies on your memory and reflexes skills.
3. my highest score was a score of 851/1000. i remembered to log in before i started the quiz. but after that technical glitches occured. they stated that i had not logged in. but i could not even submit my score. the submit button was a no-link, utterly-useless button. so my memory efforts were like totally wasted.
4. another technical glitch. how can a question have no correct options. this then deterred my from my passing grade. >:I
ahh well. lets just see what the teacher says about it. passing grade for the quiz is 750/1000.
its either its close to impossible, or she set the numbers wrongly.
as stated before, 1split second = 1point. >850/1000(ithink) were given a bonus mark in the test of 1.
990/1000 ( no kidding) gives you 2 bonus points. i solely confessed and relented and said: THATS IT. i give up
lets hope tmr will not be the same like today. all else is well.

The Man who could beat AIDS. Sounds impossible, eh? For a quarter of a century, many doctors have been trying to come out with a cure for AIDS, but so far not so good. Only recently did they discover that vaccine will be the only way to stop AIDS. But towards Dr David Ho, he feels different about the vaccine. He thinks that injecting snippets into a patients body and let the immune system do the rest of the work by churning out the antibodies may not be the best way to fight HIV at all. He instead feels that he should create those antibodies for the immune system itself so that the immune system does not need to prepare the antibodies. But he does not know the key ingredient to creating the vaccine. I quote here:'to this day, they do not know exactly what cells or immune responses could protect the body from HIV infection. Could be antibody that binds and neutralizes do the trick?'(pg27) With this, they cannot create their vaccine or cure for AIDS.

Heard about the toyota crisis?

I hereby refer to the TIME magazine about the toyota crisis. about this, it isnt really important stuff, since toyota had some problems already. but i would like to quote what they said in it and give my personal opinions. if i do write anything wrong, please drop me a comment in the comment link below.
Pg15.'Feb 2010' Prius and Lexus hybirds are recalled for brake problems in 2010 models. I do not agree on this statement that is made. All cars have brake problems, it is how well it is done out. whether brake smooth or not, it depends on the braking system. no car is ever perfect, so is no person ever perfect. well, toyota had to take back 3.8m vehicles back from the US and i feel that this is a way too large amount.

So, enough about the toyota crisis. Went to watch Dark Knight, I think 3mins of it, in The Space ( Opposite Lab 5), also what i call it as sparky corner. the show was mainly on fighting like CounterStrike. So, i gave up watching halfway and backed away to the store area. 1 guy offered me 30cents per packet drink. i felt like buying it, but i ran out of money. actually, if i were to buy it, i can sell to the class at 50cents per pack, earning me 20cents per packet. but if the drinks were not bought, then i will drink it LOL.
something is heavy on my mind. never mind, IT home learning next mon and tues. then at least slack slack a bit lor. should i go han long house on monday to do the project on Adaptive Clothing for the elderly? see how bar. han long, if you are reading this, if i am unable to come, i give you my full apology for not being able to attend the meetings.
though there may be 1 way to discuss our projects. maybe we can use the project room in the HCIKCLibrary. hmm......

we had a debate in class about what level claw are what. i thought purpledragon sleeve was level 120, but hanlong and zhiwei said it was 110. so i got overpowered 2-1, so i rather accept the facts. well now we are also having a debate on craven. i said craven was level 90, zhiwei 1st said 80 before changing to 100 after i told him the level 80 claw was mamba. han long was all the way 100. again, i got overpowered 2-1, so i again rather accept than to carry on the controversy.
seems that i lost the case :(, never mind lo :D

sheesh, my sister is looking at me blog. anyways, so yeah. tmr got the history test and i am currently reading about the alliance system. OMG, so freaking hard to rmb. all i know is that there is something like the raising of suspicion when the alliances are formed. well, han long already told me about the schifflen plan thingy, dont know how to spell, wait ar. i go google it. schlieffen plan. yeah thats it. i think. -.-
OK. well today currently Sunday, weather is not too bad, windy most of the day ( on my side of singapore). i apparently NOMNOMNOM a whole tin of biscuits. milk biscuits i think, cos they are white. visitors were expected to arrive today but apparently...well, i think they forgot to come. so, no greeting of some new people :D. the con is that i bo angpao to receive liao.
today science tuition, chemistry to be exact, was like, OMG. i understood most of it, well but i gotta revise it, chem test this thurs, right after school.
